About Me

As long as I can remember I've loved doing things that are creative and colorful.  I grew up outside of Philadelphia, an area rich with art and history.  Those roots still inspire and inform my style today.  I started out in drawing and painting taking classes throughout childhood and then at Rhode Island School of Design.  I transitioned to design as I loved the idea of problem solving and creating for a user.  I studied Industrial Design at Carnegie Mellon and loved my time there.  I then went into retail design but realized I wanted a say in the strategy of what we were designing so I headed to business school at Boston College.  I spent the next ten years doing brand management, consumer research, packaging, product development, and more but I was managing rather than creating.  After taking a break I found myself yearning to get back to my creative roots and start making things again.

Now a busy mom to two crazy kids living in Northern California I find that when I have a creative project to do I'm inspired and truly myself.  Whether painting, doing graphic design, photography, crafting, baking, or projects with my kids, finding ways to be creative each day gives me joy and fulfillment.

My goal for my art is to capture the beauty around me.  Whether traveling or looking in my own backyard there's always inspiration.  I only recently started this journey back to being an artist and I can't wait to see what the future holds.
